After the generous donation of Aurora - formerly Spensers Revenge - she was towed to Redhill Marina, by Ballinger Towage and Steerage, and lifted out of the water.
We have has a survey done, which has revealed that work is needed to her hull to keep her watertight. We already knew work was needed on the engine and that the interior needed stripping out.
The stripping out work has now begun. The generous folk at Futures devoted a day to helping us and have done a brilliant job clearing the interior, so we can see what we need to refit.
Thanks also to Ricketts - who very helpfully gave us a load of cleaning materials to work with.
Watch this space for the next stage of Aurora's restoration.
